Cherry Blossoms and Monuments in D.C.
Recently, Globe Trottin Granny and hubby got to combine a trip to visit our son and granddaughter with a little sightseeing. Spring Has Sprung?

These beautiful flowering plum trees have been blooming in Kennesaw, Georgia for about a week. I took a picture of them today, because from experience, I know that tomorrow they will look like brown mush. The predicted low tonight is 27F. WHAT! Wonderful signs of Spring, and the coldest we have had all winter all at the same time. At least it has been very sunny. Yes, you got it Georgians, no snow in sight.
Here are a few more Spring beauties. The Daffodil blooms might be affected, but the ones that haven’t bloomed yet will have no problem.

Here are some blooms that look like roses, but are Camellias. They are winter flowers, and bloom in January, February, and March. These blooms will not be troubled at all. They are nicknamed the Southern Rose. Can you see why?
