When traveling to Rome to leave on our cruise, we flew in early, Friday night, and stayed at Hotel Alimandi, a family owned hotel. It is located directly across from the Vatican, so was an excellent location since we were doing the Vatican, and St. Peters Bascilica tour the next day.
